Weddings at Centennial Blessings
-- and welcome to you -- as you come to Centennial Christian Church to prepare
for your wedding! It
means a great deal to us at Centennial to be able to share this meaningful time
with you. We want to do all we can
to share our strong feeling of God’s presence at Centennial, and our support
as a church family for your marriage.
We
begin by providing pastors, one of whom will meet with you for several sessions,
to listen with you for God’s guidance as you build a joyous and strong
marriage relationship for the years ahead. The
pastor will share with you a selection of several wedding ceremonies, and will
help you to shape your wedding to express your deepest and best feelings for
each other in the presence of God, family and friends.
Other
faithful members of the Centennial circle also will help with your wedding –
our wedding coordinator, our church administrative assistant, our custodian, and
at your request musicians. Each of
us gives of our best so that you will always remember this as a special and
meaningful time of feeling God’s and God’s church’s care for you. As we welcome you into God’s house for this very special occasion, we pray for your blessing in your lives together. The same deep Christian care that we now offer will continue to reach toward you in the days ahead, with an invitation to worship, fellowship and spiritual support, nurture of children, and opportunities to serve a world in need. are some frequently asked questions about having a wedding at Centennial
Christian Church: Do you allow weddings for non members? Yes, non-members are welcome to have weddings in our church. What are the fees for having a wedding at Centennial?
Is pre-marital counseling required? Yes, we require three pre-marital counseling sessions to prepare for the wedding. Do we have to attend worship at Centennial? You must attend 2 worship services before your wedding. Do we have to use your wedding coordinator? We require the use of our wedding coordinator who will open and close the building, assist with the rehearsal, and generally coordinate use of the building and wedding items. Can we have our reception at the church? We do have a Great Hall and a Fellowship Hall available for your wedding reception. The reception must be catered in by an outside party, and there are no alcoholic beverages allowed. How can we get our date reserved? To reserve your date, you will need to fill out an application and make a $50 refundable deposit.
